Super September! Last month, we held our August Inductions weekend where we inducted 38 new Ordeal Honor members making a total of 89 for this year! Congratulations to all who completed their Ordeal in 2024! Later this month, we will have our Lodge Retreat and, just like in previous years, any member who completed their Ordeal in 2024 can attend Lodge Retreat for free! During Lodge Retreat we will hold our annual Lodge Officer elections. If you are interested in running for the office of Lodge Chief, Vice Chief of Program, Vice Chief of Inductions, Vice Chief of Outreach, or Secretary/Treasurer please email me (chief@shenandoahlodge.org), Jeff Nelson (jeffnelson0715@gmail.com), and Robert Clemmer (Robert.Clemmer@scouting.org) a letter of intent stating who you are and your intent to run for an officer position in the Lodge. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate leadership within the Lodge. Lastly, our 2025 Lodge Calendar has been decided! While most events remain the same, notably, Spring Fellowship will be an Ordeal opportunity next year to encourage newly elected candidates to attend Conclave, though, the name of the event will remain Spring Fellowship. If you have any questions about this change please reach out to me. Additionally, the date listed for Shenandoah Fest is tentative, as details of the event are being rethought.
